VALENTINE CARD ART CONTEST RULES Contest is open to all MBUSD students in grades TK-5; All entries must be an original design made by the student (limited parental or outside help), not purchased. You can make one Valentine and photocopy it for the entire class or make individual cards and submit your favorite one; Entries must be made of materials that can be recycled or composted (no plastic or glitter); Entries can be drawn, painted or made from mixed media (e.g., paint, cloth, paper, wood). No digital art; Size limit (no bigger than 6" x 6"); Only one submission per student; Submissions must: include a photo of the Valentine card along with the name, age, grade, teacher and school of the student; include a list of all materials used to create it; be emailed to [email protected] by Friday, February 9, 2024 at 5pm. 

Judges will evaluate entries based on creativity, design, relevance, and adherence to Contest Rules. Winners from each school site will be notified on Monday, February 12, 2024 by email. Winning entries and artists will receive a gift card and be featured in the school newsletter and on social media.
