Holi Celebration At Meadows

We are excited to announce that Meadows will be celebrating Holi on March 22nd. Holi is an Indian festival of colors and a social-cultural celebration. Holi represents the spirit of friendship, love, happiness, and family time. It marks the beginning of Spring and is usually celebrated in March. To learn more, please click HERE.

On March 22nd, during the morning assembly, we will have a special guest, the founder of BollyPop dance, come and teach an Indian dance workshop to all the students. Afternoon at 2:45PM, after school, we will have a dance performance with the kids from Bollypop dance school and follow that up with the tradition of Holi and play with non-toxic colors, which is really fun for kids and adults. Everyone is welcome to stay back after school and participate. Please RSVP here. To volunteer for this event please click here.

People dress in white for Holi so that the colors look beautiful on them and can bring out the spirit of the festival. Even though the colors can be washed off there is a big possibility it can stain too, so please don't dress in fancy or favorite clothes.

Spectators are welcome! All spectators need to fill out a RUVNA form in order to attend. This event is COVID safe and compliant.
