Inspired by the work of Wadsworth Jarrell and AfriCOBRA, Rhythm in Art celebrates music and positive messages. Students will create a collage with some of the materials used by Wadsworth Jarrell (including tin foil and ric-rac trim). Students will also use AfriCOBRA’s Kool-Aid colors, fill their entire paper with images, and write positive words and/or messages (or letters representing positive words/messages) directly on the art.
