UPDATE: There will be no 0 period for all grade levels EXCEPT students doing swimming at the pool (due to blacktop being occupied for bus pick up).
In our MBMS tradition, eighth graders will have their science culminating field trip to Six Flags Magic Mountain on Monday, May 21, 2018. This is an opportunity for students to see the concepts they learned in their physics unit in action!
Here are the important facts to know:
When: May 21st, 8am to 3ish (depending on traffic) - there will be NO zero period that day.
Where: Six Flags Magic Mountain
Who: Eighth graders only!!
Why: Science field trip to culminate physics unit, looking at kinetics, Newton’s laws of motion, and friction
Cost: Requested contribution of $49/student to be collected through MBX

Details: Students must wear closed toed, comfortable shoes.
Students may want to bring a small daypack for their sundry items.
Sunscreen, water bottle and a hat are highly recommended.
School dress code applies.
Lunch can be purchased in the park.

Hope your child will be able to join us for this fun day filled with learning. Students who will not be participating are expected to attend school and will have scheduled classes. Absences will be considered truant.
