Manhattan Beach Kiwanis Club and its sponsored youth, Mira Costa Key Club, will host a clothing and toy drive to benefit the families of Walk with Sally on Sunday, December 4, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the turn-around in front of the Mira Costa Administration Building, located at 1401 Artesia Boulevard, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.

New and gently used children’s toys, books, and complete games, as well as freshly laundered clothes for girls, boys, women and men, are welcome. Cash donations are also greatly appreciated. Walk with Sally is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and all donations are tax deductible.

All donated items will be used to create a one-of-a-kind shopping experience for the families of Walk with Sally. Walk with Sally CEO, Tash Brooks, says, "We are asking for toys, clothing and funds to support our Hope for the Holidays campaign - bringing much needed hope and light to those burdened by the darkness of cancer." Walk With Sally believes that a powerful and supportive community brings light to the darkness of cancer. This non-profit organization supports children impacted by cancer by providing care-centered one-to-one programs and services to uplift the family unit and lessen the burden of cancer.

The Manhattan Beach Kiwanis Club was chartered in Manhattan Beach in 1956, and is a local chapter of an international service organization dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Mira Costa Key Club is the sponsored youth program of the Manhattan

Beach Kiwanis Club, which provides high school students an opportunity to perform service projects throughout our community and surrounding areas.

The Manhattan Beach Kiwanis Club is looking for new members who are interested in supporting children’s causes in our local community. The Club generally meets the second Tuesday evening of the month, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in Manhattan Beach.
