Professional development for all MBUSD staff is essential. Principal professional development consists of the examination of best practices in educational leadership to increase student achievement. This year principal professional development is focused on how to support/coach teachers in the implementation of the new California State Standards, how to continually build capacity of teacher leaders, and the exploration of systems/structures to enhance collaboration.
