Reflections

It's time once again for the PTA Reflections Art Contest!
This year's theme is "Look Within".

We encourage Meadows Mustang artists to start reflecting upon theme and create original works of art. In this contest, demonstrating the spirit of the theme is highly valued.

The Reflections contest deadline is Friday, October 25th at the Meadows Office. Detailed entry rules and mandatory entry form are attached to this page (at right). All entries require a completed entry form with completed student signature, parent signature and artist statement. Please take care to ensure all fields are filled out. The top portion is to be left blank.

Since 1969, the PTA Reflections program has encouraged millions of students across the nation and in American schools overseas to explore their artistic talents by creating works of art for fun and recognition. All students who enter will receive 10 SKORR cards!

We welcome works of art in six categories:

  • Dance Choreography
  • Film Production
  • Literature
  • Musical Composition
  • Photography
  • Visual Arts

Local winners in each category go on to compete at the district/region and state levels.

**Students with disabilities may choose to participate in the Special Artist division, which has modified rules to accommodate special needs. Please see Special Artist rules for more details.**
