Message from the Principal
Welcome to Meadows Elementary School. We are so glad you are visiting our website, and we hope it helps you get to know our school.
With a warm, welcoming, and down-to-earth atmosphere, Meadows is a wonderful place to teach and learn. Together with our families and the community, Meadows staff and students work toward clearly focused educational, personal, and social goals. The curriculum and instruction are standards-based and student-centered. Our extra programs and activities support creative expression, critical thinking, character development, and mental and physical wellness. Meadows is committed to supporting the growth of the whole child—balance!
Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in school, as it communicates to their children that they value education and the school community. Participating in events such as Back-to-School Night, parent/teacher goal setting conferences, and Open House, serving on committees such as the School Site Council, and attending PTA meetings and parent education sessions are important ways that parents learn about the school and how to support their child’s growth.
Meadows staff and Parent Teacher Association (PTA) keep families informed through a variety of channels: classroom newsletters and notices, the Principal’s Bulletin, Tuesday Packets, the Mustang Minute, and our website. You are also welcome to call us if you have any questions!
We value the richly diverse community that makes Meadows such a special place, and we are extremely proud of the school culture we have collectively created over the years. For more information about Meadows School click here.
