Meadows Library and Access Books is partnering to refurbish and restock Roosevelt Elementary School Library in Compton.
They desperately need your gently used children's books and your willing hands. Books can be dropped off at both the Rowell and Meadows entrances before and after school. Look for the book bins!!
We will need volunteers (students are welcome if accompanied by their parent) on February 10 from 7:30 to 2:30 to process books and paint a mural. If you plan to paint, please dress appropriately as the paint doesn't wash out. Lunch is provided to volunteers without dietary restrictions.
Books can be dropped off until February 8th and volunteer work day is February 10. Please contact Mrs. Primm if you want to volunteer - spaces are limited.
